The Associated Students of the University of Missouri is constantly looking for new talent. The more people we have involved, the more likely we’ll be successful in our efforts to improve the college experience for Missouri’s students. There are multiple ways to get involved:


ASUM Marketing Director Applications are OPEN!

ASUM is looking for our next Outreach & Multimedia Marketing Director to serve our organization from 2024-2025!

ASUM's Marketing Director oversees all media campaigns and outreach strategies to cultivate higher ASUM engagement across all University of Missouri System universities. They utilize software like Adobe and Canva to generate original content for ASUM purposes and work with the social media chairs within each of the ASUM chapters. Additional and more specific duties can be found in the application below. 

Marketing Director candidates must be enrolled full-time at a University of Missouri System university (MU, UMKC, S&T, or UMSL), and must plan on being enrolled for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. Candidates should be willing to be present at the Capitol in Jefferson City during ASUM events for PR purposes and travel to each of the four UM System universities when necessary. All travel within the position is reimbursable.

Chapter Involvement

If you’re interested in getting involved on the local level, your campus chapter is brimming with opportunities to do so. From helping register students to vote, getting them to the polls, to bringing lawmakers to your campus and hosting legislator call days, the chapters offer a wide variety of opportunities to lead and engage.
