1, 2, 3, 4… UM System Declares a Change War!

Who: All UM System departments have been grouped into teams as follows:

• Team #1: VP Finance, Controller, Planning & Budget, Treasurer’s Office, Management Services, Procurement/Supply Chain, President’s Office, and Board of Curators
• Team #2: Research & Economic Development, Institutional Research, General Counsel, University Relations, Human Resources, and Total Rewards
• Team #3: IT Team 1 - Locust Street Basement and 3rd Floor
• Team #4: IT Team 2 - Locust Street 1st and 2nd Floors
• Team #5: IT Team 3 - Telecom
• Team #6: IT Team 4 - PeopleSoft and IT Pros
• Team #7: MOREnet and Academic Affairs

How: The team with the largest monetary total will be crowned the United Way Change War winner. US currency of any sort (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars) will be counted as a positive contribution to your team’s total.  Simply, place your loose change (and dollars) in the container located at your respective department Unit Chair’s desk, or other strategic location as determined by each respective unit chair, and watch the money pile up.  All proceeds collected will go to benefit the United Way.  **Check donations will not be accepted as part of the Change War**

When: October 13, 2015 through November 13, 2015 with the Main Event on the 15th

The Prize: Bragging Rights and a Buck’s Ice Cream Party for the winning team (ice cream will be delivered to each winning business unit to host an ice cream party within its own office).

The Main Event: Final change collection will occur at the Fall Fling on November 13, 2015.  Totals will be tallied and the winner announced at the conclusion of the Fall Fling.
