I commend Dalton Wright and Jean Paul Bradshaw for their investigation into the departure of Quin Snyder as MU men’s basketball coach. Their service to the University of Missouri is greatly appreciated.

The report provides a more detailed description of several previously unresolved events, notably Gary Link’s account. It validates Chancellor Brady Deaton’s finding that failure to communicate was a significant factor in this entire episode. It further confirms that Curator Don Walsworth and I neither endorsed nor authorized seeking Coach Snyder’s departure before the end of the 2005-2005 basketball season.

The University will have no further comment at this time.
