- The Conference Committee Report was third read and finally passed by both House and Senate on Friday. The conference committee took the Senate position for UM System’s core, restoring the 10% cut originally proposed by the House from the federal stabilization fund. Additionally, they restored the $10M to the Precision Health Medicine line for NextGen.
- While this is optimistic, the restored funding will only be available if the state is able to pull down additional federal funding in the next couple months.
- The Missouri S&T Project Lead The Way funding for $60,628 and the UMSL Biotech funding for $133,378 were also restored.
