The University of Missouri has an opening for a Health Care Paralegal. This position performs a broad range of routine legal and business support services for the Office of the General Counsel. Duties may include aspects of litigation, legal and/or factual research and analysis, drafting of legal documentation, drafting various standard documents and correspondence, managing documents and electronic information in legal projects (including large data volume projects), assisting attorneys in reviewing contracts and other business documents for legal and policy compliance, managing review processes to ensure timely and effective project and task completion, and legal operations and business support. Requires legal, policy, and operational knowledge, creativity in problem solving and minimal independent judgment.
